The 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship - the 76th season of F1 - featured 24 Grands Prix from March to December. Lando Norris (McLaren–Mercedes) won his first World Drivers’ Championship, edging out reigning champion Max Verstappen by just two points after the final race in Abu Dhabi. McLaren also clinched the Constructors’ Championship, completing a double title win - the first time the team has done so in 27 years. The season was widely viewed as particularly competitive and balanced, thanks to technical regulations nearing their end and many teams fielding closely matched cars. As 2025 marks the final year of the current power-unit and aerodynamic regulations, teams and fans are already looking ahead to a major overhaul in 2026.
